Genuine Mahogany. Swietenia Macrophylla

We offer high quality genuine mahogany from Fiji. This is from government controlled plantations that were planted just after WW2. Unlike mahogany from South America, mahogany from Fiji is exempt from CITES as it is a registered plantation outside the normal growing range. Trees are now up to 75 years old and 48 inches diameter. The density is similar to mahogany from a natural forest. Plantation mahogany does have some pin knots, but our higher grades have minimal amounts and we have better than average widths. We work with the largest and most reliable supplier there  (6 million bd ft annual kiln capacity) to offer a variety of kiln dried lumber and decking.

Our mahogany lumber is available in the following sizes.

4/4, 5/4, 6/4, 7/4, 8/4, 10/4, 12 and 16/4

widths from 3 to 22 inches wide

lengths up to 19 ft long

Our decking is stable, durable and beautiful.

Plantation teak. Tectona Grandis.

We offer 2 different types of teak products. We can supply logs from plantations in Central America for the Asian market. We have access to small and large plantations and can supply up to 100 containers per month. We can help plantation owners sell all their inventory and harvest their trees in the most efficient manner possible. We have established buyers ready to buy.

The other teak product we can supply is high quality teak lumber. We can supply high quality plantation teak lumber from 40 to 60 year old trees. The best teak in the world is from Burma, but that is under restrictions from most countries and the supply there is becoming depleted. We can offer high quality teak that comes close to this standard and is far superior to the large volume of young, sappy fast growing teak from South America
